Client // DBN (Disruptive Business Network), Melbourne
Services // Brand Strategy, Logo Design
Setting // » What if the status quo is wrong? « This is the question that drives DBN. It tries to answer this by looking at the new ideas that are challenging business as usual. The ways technology is influencing the way people work. And how they can find meaning in the work they do. More specifically, The Disruptive Business Network provides tools to challenge the status quo in business by providing online resources, facilitating events, and offering consulting services.
Challenge // At the beginning of the work DBN was in its founding phase. There was a wide range of ideas, opportunities and visions for the project. But still no accumulated focus for creating a visual identity.
Solution // Therefore, the first step was a detailed examination of the different topics, the values, goals and the target group of the company. In close cooperation with the founder, I developed the content strategy for the brand, from which the visual translation into the design followed. For the logo, I developed a typographical figure that reflects the transformation process of the content of the project. Like the fundamental attitude of DBN, the writing breaks up given forms, opens dynamically in different directions and thus sets the course for an alignment in new directions.
Feedback // » Reading Reni's brand strategy was amazing! I went through the whole presentation – She just nailed it! Because there were no more words needed, let me just copy my reaction on the logo. »Wow, Reni – Just Wow! I love it! I love the simplicity of the logo. I love the shapes! I´m tremendously happy with what you have done! «
