» [no] strings attached « was premiering new compositions by Maria Reich for string quartet. Maria and I also explored » [no] strings attached « in writing. We decided to interweave texts and poems with her music and created kind of an open manuscript that complemented her compositions with poetic and reflective notes. In addition I built visual textures that emphasize the atmosphere of the theme. It was a pleasure to read our writings on stage in a dialog with Maria and the music pieces played by Maria Reich, Julia Brüssel, Anne-Sophie Bereuter and James Banner.
