In Chinese numerology, the number six (六) means ''in flux'', ''flowing'' and is thus the sign of our time: everything is in flux, old familiar boundaries are dissolving, traditional categories of thought and action no longer make sense.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the city partnership between Berlin and Beijing, TYPO 六 graphically deals with the word ''wall'' and questions ideas of originality of a work of art in a communicative, interactive practice.
It was a great pleasure and honor to work on this project. The experimental nature of the idea gave me a lot of creative freedom to really dive deep into the topic and create out of what wanted to emerge. Working with Roman and Silvan from Goethe-Institut was an all-round good experience. I could always feel the joy in their work and the appreciation for the artistic results.
